Prayer is a light, and charity is a proof, and patience is illumination

Eid Feast

Ramadan is a holy month when muslims worldwide fast during daylight hours and abstain from other pleasures. Ramadan is also the month where muslims contribute to charity work, and donations for the less fortunate. Ramadan is an opportunity for many to provide free Iftar meals to the less well-off people who cannot afford to buy food. The Iftar play a positive role in helping spread the message of Islam. It is truly satisfying to see people eating and having a decent Ramadan. C H Centre makes arrangements and delivers all sorts of delicious delicacies for helping the needy and passers-by who cannot afford to buy food to have a decent Ramadan.

There is much reward in feeding the poor but feeding Iftar to the poor in Ramadan has even greater reward. The Prophet has said: “Whoever feeds a fasting person will have reward like that of the fasting person, without any reduction in his reward.” (Tirmidhi). Importance of serving the community should not stop with Ramadan; it has to be carried throughout the year. If we all contributed with anything we can do, we can reach more poor families and manage to prevent them from sleeping hungry at night. And hopefully, we all keep thinking of those people who need us and do our best to help them not only in Ramadan, but throughout the whole year.
